About Greg Foat

Greg Foat is one of the UK’s leading jazz pianists, composers and music producers.

Greg’s worked with a diverse selection of musicians including Bob Lind, Moses Boyd, Linkwood, Curtis Lundy, Rita Ora, Wendy James and Questlove. In recent years he’s recorded for Jazzman Records, Athens Of The North and Strut.

2022 has seen him release ‘Psychosynthesis’, his first solo set in two years. Also his most recent ‘Blue Lotus’ release marks the return The Greg Foat Group line-up with special guests Art Themen on Soprano Saxophone and Morgan Simpson (Black Midi) on Drums. Both releases have come via his own Blue Crystal Records.

2023 will see the release of ‘Dolphin’ the collaborative album with Gigi Masin via Strut Records.

CCHW RESIDENCY: SAIGE SOUNDS

As part of ColdCutsHotWax takeover of Saturday nights in Ninety One, Saige Sounds will be joining the CCHW residents behind the decks following Greg Foat’s performance!

Hailing from South London, Saige Sounds bridges a global selection of dance music. Her monthly show on Balamii Radio centers Broken Beat, early House, Electro and deep soulful cuts. Influenced by different underground sounds, Saige is guaranteed to bring a bounce of energy to any dancefloor, with the likes of disco, funk, house, and anything in between.
