Original Roots is a series showcasing an outstanding line up of new and current artists alongside some legendary, world class names. On Friday 7th June it is with great pleasure that we welcome London Bossa Quartet to the living room stage.
About the artist
Gathering some of the very best Brazilian Jazz instrumentalists in the UK scene, the London Bossa Quartet is dedicated to exploring the richness of Brazilian instrumental music through sophisticated arrangements and exciting improvisation.
Playing a repertoire comprised of a mix of classics by all-time master Brazilian composers such as Tom Jobim, Joao Bosco and Hermeto Pascoal, as well as their original compositions, the quartet creates a vibrant and absolutely unique sound that takes audiences on a real journey through Brazil!
