Join us each and every Monday for Vogue Rites – a club night for the London Ballroom scene and friends.
Voguing originated in Harlem in the 1960s, as an underground dance-based form of expression created by black and Latino LGBT communities in prisons and in the Harlem Drag Balls.
Voguing consists of five elements: duckwalk, catwalk, hands, floorwork, and spins and dips.
TURN IT! is London’s only weekly Ballroom night, and is an inclusive and supportive space for people, new and old, who want to be part of Ball Culture in London.
For those who have never danced or walked a runway before, don’t be shy! Come dressed as you are, introduce yourself to the hosts, Kartel and Bronze, who will see to it that you have a fun night.
Spectators are also welcome, so feel free to come and watch if you prefer. As with any LGBTQ event, we ask you to respect our code of conduct outlined below.
ENTRY: £5 (cash only)
