We are delighted to welcome Queenstown Collective to Ninety One for their living room debut with two sets spread across the evening. An exciting new collaboration between a diverse group of musicians, expect a high-energy live show to lift your spirits.

After the live show, let’s push the tables back and groove to the sun-filled sounds of DJ collective Discothèque Tropicale, playing ’til close.

Born out of a prolific Brixton jam night, Queenstown Collective is a diverse group of musicians with its roots firmly in the London Jazz scene.
Having only begun their journey as a band at the start of 2023, they have already sold out Pizza Express Live without any music released.

Between them, each band member has established themselves in the industry playing regularly with the likes of King Krule, Joe Armon Jones, Cherise, Mansur Brown, Levitation Orchestra and more.Working towards their debut EP, their music explores the intersections between the likes of Yussef Dayes, Kamasi Washington, Alice Coltrane and Fela Kuti.

Led by drummer James Morgan, this collective are high energy, and will take you on a journey that will lift your spirits and free your mind.

After coming to the end of a very strong first year, Discothèque Tropicale has quickly gained support from the likes of Antal, Hunee, Palms Trax, Barbara Boeing, Poly Ritmo and Dar Disku to name a few. The collective, London based events series, and licensed reissue label’s first project is focussed on highlighting the sounds of Guadeloupe and the Southern French Antilles. In doing so they hope to champion and honour the talented artists that birthed this beautiful music. With head honcho ‘JOSH FB’ and world music CD fanatic ‘Fred Salt’ at the helm, you can expect globally sourced soulful, sun filled dance music carefully selected to make you smile while you dance…Let’s zouk!’
