About the EFG London Jazz Festival

The 30th edition of the renowned EFG London Jazz festival, a city-wide celebration of emerging and legendary jazz talents worldwide, will be taking place from 11th to 20th November. The event has been hailed as one transcending social, geographical and gender barriers, bringing the true jazz essence to more than 70 venues around the capital with 2000+ artists, hundreds of gigs, film screenings and exhibitions. Ninety One Living Room was invited to participate as an official partnering venue this year and will be proudly showcasing some of the most innovative sounds and talented artists of the contemporary jazz scene which promise to delight your ears.

The powerful and groovy drummer and percussionist, Jaz Kayser will strike up the line-up on Friday 11th, followed by the acclaimed electronic-soul quartet Noya Rao Collocutor, Sarah Tandy, Arifa’s Reefers and Jam collective Tucan on Thursday 15th November.

Our stage will then be graced by heavyweight musical talents including Daisy George, bassist for Poppy Ajudha and Jas Kayser, Ruby Rushton, one of the most forward-thinking and prolific bands to emerge from London’s thriving jazz scene. Modern soul and jazz singer-songwriter and guitarist, Raquel Martins will then take over our stage on Saturday 19th. On Sunday 20th, the curtain will fall with jazz with hip-hop and neo-soul rising star Basile Petite.
