About the EFG London Jazz Festival

The EFG London Jazz Festival is the capital’s biggest pan-city music festival, taking place annually in November, which has long been acclaimed for showcasing a heady mix of talent from around the world. Widely acknowledged for delivering world-class artists and emerging stars, the Festival continues to take jazz to a massive audience, in one of UK’s landmark music events. Following an exceptional edition last year, EFG London Jazz Festival returns with a programme of live performances by an electrifying lineup of global stars, special collaborations, and the finest and freshest music. On Saturday 18th November 2023 it is with great pleasure that we welcome B. Cool-Aid to the living room stage.

About B. Cool-Aid

Alabama-native rapper Pink Siifu and producer Ahwlee, who’ve recorded together as since 2017, reunite as rap / neo-soul / R&B duo B. Cool-Aid. Specialising in sauve, crackly music that exists on the borders of experiment – somewhere in between Butcher Brown’s live-band jazz and A Tribe Called Quest-style boom-bap.
New dreamy full-length record Leather Blvd. features fluid collages of soul and rap in a way that’s sweet and smooth. Plush, leisurely arrangements, crisp drums and vapory keys meld to groovy basslines. The project features the likes of Fousheé, Liv.e and Ladybug Mecca.
