About The Artists

RnB and soul singer Natanya Popoola was influenced by her parents love of Motown and 80’s funk. These influences are fused with modern RnB and soul sounds and the result is meandering melodies filled with beautifully intimate lyrics. Natanya has gone from strength to strength with every release, evident in the hype and success around her  2022 release Foolish. Her most recent release Open Your Eyes shows Natanya’s versatility, coming through with a bass-laiden broken beat layered with woozing chords and a catchy hook primed for the dancefloor.

London-born and based artist Rosa Cecilia showcases her ability to wrap fusion sound – referencing jazz, RnB, Latin sound and neosoul – in a commercial space. Despite more serious lyrical tones, Rosa’s art is brought to celebratory life with trumpet and guitar parts beautifully decorating Rosa’s infectious and danceable hooks. Her music is both feel-good and introspective.

Nottingham-born singer Ella Knight fuses Soul, R&B and Jazz. Notorious for her live performances, Ella brings the jazz to any show with her 6 piece animated band, attracting the attention of world-renowned DJs such as Giles Peterson, where she has joined as a 5th-year member on his talent discovery scheme, Future Bubblers. She will bring this wealth of talent and experience to the turntables at Ninety One, soundtracking the end of the night in style.
