SoftBoy DJs

Founders of SoftBoy Records and DJs Kojaque and Kean Kavanagh join us behind the decks. With Kojaque’s unique hip-hop production and Kavanagh’s left-field indie leanings, expect the unexpected from their set.

Gaptoof

Collaboration has always been at the core of Gaptoof’s musical journey, whether on record or in a live setting the Soft Boy Records producer has a knack for providing appropriate soundscapes and picking the exact features to get his overall point across. Boasting an impressive list of collaborators over the years including the likes of Kojaque, Kean Kavanagh, Chlobocop, Lord Apex, Kofi Stone, Yenkee, Lex Amor and Manik MC, Gaptoof always manages to create a storyline and point. His solo production is soulful and colourful, with heavy influence from early 2000s R&B and Hip Hop.

Shiv

Shiv is a DJ turned singer-songwriter/producer with a unique sound and a varied musical background. Born in Zimbabwe to a musical family and then moving to Ireland at age 5, shiv’s sound is influenced by the music that moulded her childhood and mastered by the mindful attention she applies to her craft.

Yenkee

Yenkee, aka Graham Cooney, began recording and producing his own music at the age of 15. A music school dropout, in 2015 he began crafting his lo-fi bedroom recordings into sincere and soulful indie pop. Inspired by artists such as Al Green, Prince, John Martyn and Randy Newman, Yenkee’s songs are endeavours in modern pop with suggestions of the tasteful palette of 70s rock, all enveloped in a saturated analog sound.
