Christmas comes early to 91 Living Room with Vienna born London based woodwind instrumentalist Guido Spannocchi and his exceptional ensemble. Expect grooves, exotica bop and maybe the odd carol! Supporting on the night, Miami raised DJ Sire brings his blend of soulful music, from r&b, dance and beyond.

About Guido Spannocchi

Vienna born London based woodwind instrumentalist Guido Spannocchi is best known for his original compositions as well as his prolific musical output. Running his own label “audioguido records” he releases regularly under his name and orks with some of the most important musicians of the Jazz and contemporary scene across the world.

This evening is no exception as Guido is flanked by his long term collaborator Danny Keane on keyboards (sideman of Mulatu Astatke, MD for Anoushka Shankar and plenty more), the rhythm sections comprises of the powerhouse of Daisy George on bass (Jas Kayser, Alabaster DePlume ea.) and Sam “Barrell” Jones on drums (Nubya Garcia, Obongjayar, Binker Golding e.a.)

About DJ Sire
Coming up in Miami, Sire is a dj equally at home in the club, lounge or on the radio. His sound is a mix of soulful music; from r&b and dance, to current sounds and classics from around the world. Based in London, he has a show on Voices Radio, a podcast titled Inspirations and can be found dj’ing at Soho House.
